About Us
We are based in Portrush, Co Antrim, Ireland's premier 'Learn to Surf' location, with a choice of
7 amazing beaches stretching from Downhill to Portballintrae, all with vastly different wave characteristics.
Our new training base, shop, and hire centre is now open at the town end of East Strand Promenade, directly opposite The Arcadia building in Portrush. Call past at anytime during the day to book a lesson and/or hire equipment (surfboards, wetsuits, bodyboards, etc.)
Kids Summer "VIP" Surf Camps
We are proud to be the only Surf School in Northern Ireland to limit our Kids Summer Surf Camps to only 12 Children per session!
You can ensure that your little Surf Dudes will get the full care and attention of TK and his team! All camps are run in waist depth water and are supervised by 2 Fully Qualified Beach Lifeguards as well as Fully Qualified Surf Coaches.
We like to think of it as Portrush's VIP Kids Summer Surf Camp!! We keep the number's low to ensure our grommets get the "TK Maxx" from their Surf Experience with us... We have the same parents booking and Kids returning year after year.. This makes us very proud!

The Surf School Choice of The Celebs!!!
Portrush Surf School and Martin "TK" Kelly have had the pleasure of teaching both Gary Lineker and Will Young over the past couple of years here in Portrush.
Gary Lineker was in town shooting for the BBC programme Northern Exposure.

Famous pop-star Will Young is a keen surfer back home in England and wanted a quick run out in the surf when he was on his Irish tour in 2011.

From surfing the net at Bluecube to surfing the waves with TK Surf School
As a digital advertising agency we wanted something different to the standard corporate day out, something that would be reflective of the exciting, innovative approach our clients expect when working with us. We wanted to give them a memorable day out that was a break away from their daily work routine.
A day away from surfing the internet became a day out surfing with TK Surf School. We have been going back twice a year for the last 4 years and never fail to have a fantastic day. Our staff love it, and most importantly our clients love it, they are always asking when the next day out will be.
Even though we can't always rely on the weather or waves, the friendly, professional approach of Martin and his team means we can always ensure a great day out. We've found that getting into a wetsuit and taking a cold shower in a car park usually doesn't fail to bond everyone involved.
